Cammy Lee Leukemia Foundation

The CLLF organizes bone marrow drives to recruit donors of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage.  Asians represent only 8% of the 6.2 million potential donors in The National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) registry.  Their chance of finding a suitable donor is as poor as 1 in a million.

Since 1993, the CLLF has signed up more than 100,000 members to the NMDP.  Everyday, their efforts help some of the thousands of patients who are waiting for their "miracle match".
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

Founded in 1947, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is one of the World's premier patient care and research institutions for bone marrow related illnesses.  Both of our friends have received treatment there.

The Jimmy Fund at the DFCI was formed in 1948 around a 12-year-old cancer patient speaking to the nation from his hospital bed on a national radio broadcast.  Today the Jimmy Fund supports clinics that treat cancers and blood disorders in both children and adults.
