Purpose

This past year, two close friends were diagnosed with terminal blood diseases.  One received a bone marrow transplant in January and his recovery looks promising. The other is undergoing intensive treatments while she awaits a matching donor.  We are dedicating this summer to helping find a donor for our friend and thousands more like her.
Thank you to all who have helped us reach way beyond our initial fundraising goal. We have two months left: please help us reach out to even more people.

If you know of somoeone who might be interested in our efforts and our story, please forward them a link to our website.  The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, The Cammy Lee Leukemia Foundation and the The National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) can use all the help we can give.

What we are doing

This summer, Jim and Jesse (and their dogs) are hiking the 3,000-mile long Continental Divide Trail from Mexico to Canada through the mountains of New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana.  They are seeking pledges for each mile they hike during the 4 months they expect to spend completing the trek.
